Appalling Service recieved from Toyota Bruma - Zain Iqbal
I am in the process of purchasing a brand new RAV4 from Bruma Toyota, Johannesburg, South Africa.
The service I am receiving from the Dealership is shocking. Firstly i confirmed the purchase of the vehicle only to be told that the car is being sold to another person, after my confirmation
The sales person then confirmed the car was mine and the trade in value for my current vehicle was confirmed via a podium.
Upon visiting the dealership today the Sales manager Zain Iqbal was highly unprofessional due to his lack of willingness to understand my position on the trade in arrangement of my vehicle.
He came across as arrogant and unwillingness to assist at every juncture of my conversation.
He went on to elaborate on the internal processes that govern Toyota to an extent that he even brought into question a supposed respraying of the bumper on the trade in vehicle.
His line of interrogation and cross questioning was belittling as this was done in front of all the sales staff and customers.
This trade in vehicle was purchased from the dealership about 18 months ago and has never been involved in an accident and no part of the car was resprayed in my ownership.
I have done less than 8k kilometers since i have taken ownership of the vehicle w and it has been parked in a lock up garage for more than 5 days in a week.
Zain Iqbal is now willfully and purposefully trying everything in his power to make me walk away from this deal, as he is now offering R5k less on the trade-in of my vehicle. He is claiming that i resprayed the car bumper.
The Podium I received confirmed the trade in value that Bruma will grant me for the car and did not stipulate a clause that stated the trade in value is subject to an inspection and valuation of the vehicle.
I am therefore of the opinion that this is *********, ******** and unprofessional practices within the dealership.
Furthermore, i would like an investigation to be performed as to why Toyota Bruma sold me a vehicle where the bumper was resprayed.
I would appreciate an investigation into this unpleasant experience and particularly around the integrity of the Podium and the Sales manager ( Zain Iqbal)
