Today is a very saddest day in my life, the day filled with sadness, disappointment and frustration. This is very long story which I will try to summarize. Right, almost this entire year my Toyota Starlet XR 1.5 AT 2021 model which I bought in 2021 as a

19 Sept 2025, 11:00Dear Khethiwe,
Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention.
We truly appreciate your frustration and understand that this must have been an unpleasant experience for you.
May we kindly clarify the matter from our perspective?
Your vehicle was booked in for a diagnostic due to a noise you noticed inside the car. Upon inspection, it was found that the gearbox was faulty, and we proceeded to repair it. After the repair, you noted that the noise had reduced but was still noticeable.
As you remained dissatisfied, you requested a new gearbox. Since you are insured with Innovation Group, they have their own processes for authorising repairs or replacements. They arranged for an assessment, but your claim was rejected as no fault was found with the gearbox. The assessor suggested that it might be a workmanship issue. As a result, the gearbox was reevaluated, fixed, and confirmed to be in perfect condition.
However, you were still dissatisfied as the noise persisted.
Your vehicle was then booked with Toyota SA, where a back-to-back test was conducted with another vehicle of the same specifications. The sound was determined to be normal for this model.
Unfortunately, as no faults have been identified, there is nothing further we can do at this stage except to continue monitoring your vehicle's performance.
Should you experience any further issues, please rest assured that we are ready and willing to assist you. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this matter may have caused.
