THEIR SERVICE STINKS

Due to a breakdown, our vehicle had to be towed to McCarthy Lynnwood on Fri 8.1.2021. The front windows were still open when it was delivered to McCarthy. We were notified that the vehicle had been booked 'in' at 17:16. It would only be booked for 'service' on Mon 11.1.2021.

We could not afford their quote for repairs, and had to pay another towing business to collect our vehicle on Fri morning 15.1.2021.

When we collected our vehicle late that afternoon, it had the most horrible damp, wet, disgusting smell. It was obvious that McCarthy neglected to protect it from rain while it was in their care.

We went to McCarthy the following morning on 16.1.2021. Were told that we needed to wait for a call from the service manager on Mon 18.1.2021.

I requested that the vehicle gets a proper clean, full valet, etc, and told them not to return it until such time the disgusting smell was gone.

It was collected on Wed 20.1.2021. Still smelling (only slightly better), with the heater knob still turned to max heat.

Not impressed. 'Utter negligence' is putting it mildly.

It is 2 weeks later, and guess what? The car still smells like SH*T.
