Poor service at Toyota Gezina
I too my vehicle for a service, of which i was told air filter needs changing but its not covered by the service plan. We took not of that and it was written in the service invoice. Day later warning lights came on, for diesel filter. The guy in toyotas simply dismissed us and told us he did his job. So in essence, service simply covers oil and car wash. And they took in vehicle for hours, only for oil change and inadequate inspection.

15 Jul 2021, 09:15Good day Sir, we take note of your complaint, but unfortunately the service does not cover the diesel filter. The warning light was already on when the vehicle arrived. We advised you and quoted you on replacing the filter, after which you declined our quotation and said you will sort it out yourself. We did a reset as part of the service, but the warning light will come back on as the filter has not been changed. Unfortunately we are not in control of the quality of the diesel that goes into the vehicle, the filter is merely there to protect and once it is too dirty, needs replacement.

15 Jul 2021, 10:35It is unfortunate that the light was actually not on when it went for the service and air filter was one which Toyota highlighted, and i told them i will replace it, day later, diesel filter light came on. On normal situation with their inspection, i would expect them to pick it up that diesel filter needs attention, but no. light came literally a day after vehicle went for service. So now it comes into question, what do they do during a service if such basic things are not checked or serviced?
