Left stranded by Toyota and Kinto!
I was purchasing a vehicle from Bidvest Toyota Midrand, using the Kinto One finance / leasing option. After confirming the approval multiple times, and getting rid of my previous leased vehicle, 2 hours prior to the scheduled collection, the dealership contacted me say it was suddenly declined. Outside of the embarrassing situation of getting my new car and then not, I am also now left stranded with no mode of transport for me and my 3 kids. I am very disappointed and heartbroken in what has transpired here.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.
However, we would like to clarify some points regarding your application.
Our sales consultant confirmed that, should your application be approved with Kinto, arrangements would be made for the collection of the vehicle on Friday the 22nd of November 2024. At no point during the process was it confirmed that your application was indeed approved as we were still waiting for outstanding documents from you to be able to finalise the process.
These documents were received and submitted to Kinto, but unfortunately your application was declined. The reason received was that the qualifying terms and conditions for a Kinto transaction were not met. As a result, we were unable to conclude the transaction. Once we received the feedback on Friday morning you were contacted with the outcome at 09h50.
We understand that you made arrangements based on the expectation of approval for this transaction; however, the outcome of your application was beyond our control due to the above reasons.
We always strive to accommodate all our customers, but in this instance, it was not possible.
We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.
Sincerely,
Bidvest McCarthy Toyota
