Dissatisfied Customer

I wanted to buy a vehicle from Bidvest Toyota on Gauteng. I live in Kzn , the salesman Rob was assisting me , my cousin who lives there in Gauteng tried to view this vehicle. He was given the run around by Rob, for 2 weeks , my finance was approved, because I complained about his unprofessionalism , Bidvest McCarthy Toyota refused to sell the vehicle to me . Unprofessional dealership

Dear Servani,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We have carefully reviewed your concerns and would like to provide some clarity regarding the situation.

Upon your initial inquiry, our salesperson answered all your questions professionally. You arranged for your brother to view the vehicle on your behalf. At the time, we informed you that the vehicle was undergoing reconditioning and assured you that we would notify you once it was back at the dealership. The vehicle arrived on Monday, and we scheduled a viewing for your brother on Wednesday at 10:30 AM. However, your brother mentioned that he might not be able to commit to that time and indicated he would come on Thursday instead.

On Wednesday afternoon, we sent a message confirming the time for Thursday's viewing. Unfortunately, we only received a response from your brother on Thursday morning. Due to this late response, the salesperson had another commitment with a customer, and our other sales staff were also occupied, leaving us no choice but to reschedule. To accommodate your brother, we offered to bring the vehicle to him later that day, but he was unavailable.

We also reviewed the messages exchanged with our salesperson. While we understand your frustration, some of the language used was inappropriate and uncalled for, especially given the consistent communication and efforts made to assist you.
In this instance, we found no evidence of misconduct or poor service on our salesperson's part. We understand that you were eager to purchase the vehicle and may have felt pressed for time, but we cannot condone disrespectful treatment of our staff.

We regret that the situation did not meet your expectations. If you wish to continue with our services or discuss this matter further, we are open to doing so. We always strive to resolve any concerns and improve our processes to ensure the best possible service for our customers.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,
Bidvest McCarthy Toyota
