They never did my wheel-alignment and balancing which I had paid for. I had called to to let them know and no one came back to me. I had to call again and then I was told I can come anytime between 10H00 and 16H00 due to load shedding which I was happy to do. I had rocked up just before 10H00 on the 8th of July 2022. When I handed my car keys over to the service adviser I had waited in the lobby for about an hour (totally cool with that). I received my car and had driven off and relized that my steering wheel was not aligned and was in fact worse then when I had handed my keys over the second time around. I had gone home and had gone to TyreMart in Parkland to redo the balancing and alignment. They had told me that my shocks were bent and needed to be replaced ASAP and thats the reason the alignment and balancing was out. Toyota had NEVER mentioned my shocks or wheels to me at any point in time, NOT even the second time around. We had then realised that my service book was never stamped which means that if I had never checked it I would not have any history or dates in my booklet should I decide to trade my car or sell it in the near future. My boyfriend had taken it on himself to go back to solve this issue (11 July 2022). There only response was an apology and that they do not look at the shocks because they do not specialise in it however this is something that should be checked during the wheel alignment process. We are still waiting for the service manager Morne Steyne to call us back. I paid for a service which I do not believe I have received.
