Very Disappointed – Poor Service Experience

I booked my Isuzu bakkie in for clutch issues and was told to bring it in on Wednesday, with the promise that it would be ready by end of business on Thursday—just in time for a long Easter weekend away with my family.

On Thursday, I received a call from "Nabeen" saying my bakkie was ready for collection. I arrived just after 4pm, only to find my vehicle still up on the lift. I was told they were “just wrapping things up” and asked to wait. I did.

Eventually, everyone left, leaving me there with a few mechanics. When the bakkie finally came off the lift, it had no clutch at all. All the service advisors were gone. I had to beg the mechanics for a lift home.

They assured me the workshop would be open on Saturday and that they would complete the work then. It’s now Saturday. I’ve been calling since 8am—multiple times—with no answer. It feels like they’ve just decided today is a write-off and no one needs to take responsibility.

I’ve now lost an entire long weekend away with my family and friends. I am absolutely disgusted by this level of service. I would have expected Nabeen, the service manager, to personally call me first thing this morning to apologize and provide an update. But nothing.

I am a loyal Isuzu fan, but I will never trust this dealership again. Avoid them at all costs—they’ll promise the world, but clearly don’t care about delivering on those promises.

Watch this space—I won’t be surprised if they come back with a ridiculous quote for the so-called “missing part.” If that happens, it’ll be nothing short of ******ion, plain and simple.
