Warranty policy a complete waste of money!

I have been signed up for a 2 year warranty policy for my vehicle which is out of motor plan. 2 weeks ago that car began to shudder whilst driving. I took it to the mechanic who advised that there was an issue with my clutch. Thinking that my warranty would cover this I put in the claim only to be advised that since my vehicle had not broken down, they would not honour the claim. Further, having read through my policy, if i had continued to drive the car and it eventually broken down and would have to be towed, policy would still not honour the claim as i would be considered negligent. So i'm damned if i do and damned if i dont, and at R560 or so a month, it is a waste of money and offers me no relief when i really need it! I am so disappointed in this service and will be cancelling this policy!
