Tyre Claim Not Yet Approved

Facing an incredibly frustrating situation regarding my mother's rim and tyre claim. Her rim sustained damage while she was driving on a public road, and the insurance company is looking for any possible justification to reject the claim. One of the agents contended that every vehicle should have a spare wheel, including those fitted with run-flat tyres, when we were required to bring the car in for evaluation. The subsequent rationale provided was that the rim would not be repaired if the tyre was able to endure the impact of whatever my mother encountered while driving.
