Turn around time is disgusting!

My car was towed to VW Fourways on Saturday, 29 Feb 2020 and 7 days later (5 working days), Bidvest extended warranty personnel have still not given authorization for my alternator to be repaired. They request supporting documents which then takes over 24 hours for their appointed assessor to review, for a simple service history record which has all been done according to required!! This level of service & turn around time is disgraceful! I have been sitting without a car for 7 days and I am no where closer to my car even being repaired!! The reason one takes out 'insurance cover' for these types of things, is so I AM COVERED AND NOT LEFT IN A SITUATION LIKE THIS FOR A WEEK! I will not be renewing my cover with your company because of this 'lack of concern for turn around' time.
