taking ages to approve a tyre claim

still waiting for a trye claim for a week now, claim submitted 16 July. 1st they kept asking for documents which were provided before, Then on 22nd I was told documents were accessed only on the 20th and claim will take 48 hours. Today is 72 hours and am told same story and that they will escalate. Even on 22nd they said they are escalating. I will cancle this tyre insurance after this. This the 2nd time that they take long to finalise a claim, Two months ago they delayed approving a mere allignment and wheel balancing - the annual benefit
