You will never be able to claim from this policy.

I took out this policy of R109 p/m and after 9 months decided to make a claim for a very small scratch, appear to have been caused by a shopping trolley. This cover has a max limit per claim of R2,500. I was advised to submit two quotations and to my surprise both exceeded R3,500 from two different workshops. For a small scratch this amount? I understand they will have to re-do the entire area where the incident occurred but for this policy to only cover said amount? No workshop will quote for any repair under this amount. This was basically the smallest scratch I submitted for repair, meaning anything greater will obviously also be declined. They made it very clear I will never be able to claim from this policy, I am glad I realized this in the first year and gladly cancelled.

Don't be fooled by this policy, you will pay for the rest of your life and when you decide to claim it will be declined as no repairer will quote for less than R2,500.
