Scratch and dent policy ****

I recently submitted a scratch and dent claim for one of my rims on my Audi RS3 on the 20th of June 2022, they requested me to obtain a quote from a shop close to me and from their preferred service provider which is mccarthy auto trimmers, i obtained both quotes and sent it to them on the 21st of June 2022, they only got back to me yesterday on the 29th of June and adviced that the repairs has been authorized for Mccarthy (their service provider). So Mccarthy Auto trimmers contacted me today advising that the rim has to come to their workshop which is in randburg, i told them that randburg is too far for me +-90km from me, they then said they would contact bidvest to authorize my alternative quotation that i obtained from a service provider closer to me, now bidvest gets back to me and tells me they only going to pay the money that their service provider quoted and i would be liable/responsible to pay the difference as the quote from the service provider i obtained was higher than the one from Mccarthy auto trimmers, I'm unhappy because i accepted the quote from their service provider but now they can't render the service to me because they to far and only work from mon-fri and the only time i would be able to go there is Saturday, so now i have to pay the difference even though my policy covers up to R6000 what a ****.
