Research before even considering this!!!!!

Hi I took out and extended mechanical warranty for 2 years , I only claimed 4 times and its only been 1 year and 3 months , I was not told that I can only claim for a specific amount , however the documents tell you how much each component is covered for , so I am really frustrated , we take these covers out so we don't pop out money from our pockets, however I am sitting with a R22000 Bill to pay that I don't know how I am going to pay for it?????????

Hi Thanks, I called in today , A lady did advise me that the limit was R15000 Which I was not aware , at the same time I think the limit is to small , if one had to claim for 1 component over that amount it would not make sense to have a warranty. Amyways the dealership also did not advise me about this , they however printer a copy of the warranty documents and had given to me. I will have a look at it this evening. Thanks,
