Poor Payout from Bidvest Insurance

I have a 2010 Subaru Forester covered under a My Warranty 225. I bought the car and warranty in December 2019. Last week my car's clutch started slipping, and to prevent further damage I took the car to a registered workshop. There we found that not only was the clutch damaged, but also the flywheel. There are no generic components for my car, so I had to source OEM parts. The flywheel alone is R15 500. The clutch is clearly not covered by the plan (an amount of R4500), but all other components (including the flywheel) is expressly mentioned as covered items. According to the plan a max amount of R30 000 is available for engine components (wherein the fly wheel is included). The total quotation I received is R27 851 (R23 051 excl the previously mentioned clutch). During claims processing it became evident that only R12 500 will be covered by the plan (leaving the remaining R15 351 for my account). I cannot speak to any person authorizing the claims. The R12 500 is the amount payable for wear and tear, but the flywheel is listed under engine components. I have only had the car for 6 months, and kept the service agreement. I am disappointed that the insurer does not cover what is mentioned, and uses an underhand "wear and tear" clause to limit their amount payable.
