Not in line with legislation

I was contacted to buy an extended warranty for my vechile after enquiring on the website.

I was contacted and was very happy to go ahead. Then we got to the T&C part of this and was told that I can only service my vechile a franchise deale for the warranty to be valid and enforceable

I reaptedly told the agent that this is against legislation and was then told it was not gazette and therefor not law.

I have sent the gazette as well as the extract of the competitions commis on that was publish in Jan 2021, effective from 01 July 2021.

I am in sock that bidvest is selling products that are against legislation. Spoke to Nico and Owen and sent the documentation on. It is clear for anyone with a comprehension of the English Language that I can have my vechile repaired, serviced or maintained at RMI approved workshop or franshise like Car Service City in Rivonia. They service, repair and main vechile beter than certain dealers and I have proof thereof.

This is ridiculous. I am want you product as it seems the best of the rest however, I can't buy something that is against what is Gazetted

If I end up going for another product form a competitor, I am not going to stop here. I am going to fight this for those consumers that are been treated wrongfully.

The right to repair, compitions commison, consumer protection the relevant ombudsman and the recent tribunal will hear of this to procwt the rights. This is ridiculous
