<p>Hi, </p> <p> </p> <p>A Bidvest agent called me to sell me their Mechanical Warranty Insurance. I was very hesitant as I've heard many stories of warranties not paying out when you need to claim. I asked as much question as I could think of and one of them being will I be covered if I hear a noise on my car and discover it's due to a part that's worn out. The agent confirmed that it will be covered as long as it happened while I was covered. Now my cars gearbox is out and standing by a workshop that is charging R9700 to repair the gearbox but Bidvest has declined my claim.</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards</p> <p>Anees</p>
