Extremely bad & slow Claims Process and Warranty Policy not worth it, rather SELF INSURE!!!

Claim for Gearbox Bearings logged 30 August 2019, received acknowledgement and notified via sms that docs requested from Repairer. Thereafter, no updates and I had to keep following up. In today's follow up, told they waiting for the Insurer and have now received a rejection letter saying "Components that fail due to usage or age are excluded". My car has been at the Workshop for the past 3 weeks waiting for this claim to be processed. What a waste of time. Will pay for this and future repairs myself which will be much quicker and less frustrating than wasting my time and money on useless Warranty Insurance policies from Bidvest.
