DO NOT TAKE OUT A BIDVEST MOTOR WARRANTY INSURANCE EVER - YOU ARE THROWING AWAY GOOD MONEY FOR NO SERVICE

Bidvest will not authorize the claim on the warranty insurance as the component has not broken completely. This is after the dealer took two videos uploaded them and mentioned that if the component broke completely the entire gear box would also have broken. They have also stated to Bidvest a number of times that this is not a wear and tear component. The staff the review these claims are useless. DO NOT TAKE OUT A BIDVEST WARRANTY INSURANCE PRODUCT. Together with the dealer we have established that staff do not take the time to review the videos nor do they understand the mechanical aspects of a vehicle. Bidvest makes money for nothing with these insurance products. I REPEAT------DO NOT EVER TAKE OUT A BIDVEST MOTOR WARRANTY PRODUCT. I have paid the R43k for the repair and now my life long mission will be to ensure that I can prevent as many people as possible from falling into the same trap. Purchased this policy for peace of mind....that is the last thing Bidvest gave me...if I did not have the cash I would have been without a car.
