Car hire from Bidvest Insurance

This is TOTALL ridiculous. My vehicle has been booked in at VW for repairs. To send a quote to Bidvest the part needs to be sent away. This will take 2 to 3 days. Bidvest can only approve car hire after they received the quote from VW. This would most probably be 4 days later after my car has been booked in. How many people experience this delay in their added benefit? After the quote has been received by Bidvest, then the car will most probably be fixed in one day. So WHAT is the point of the car hire that you Offer? I find this offer of car hire very STUPID! Please let me know what can be done?
