Calling me on my boss' phone - harassment!!

<p>I visited the Datsun Nissan Randburg branch recently to look at a vehicle and spoke to Sunel Kemsley, business manager, to see if I could get approval for finance. She asked me to give my boss' number to be completed on the approval query but I was reluctant to as I did not want him contacted. She assured me that in NO WAY would he be contacted and that it was just a formality for the forms.</p> <p>I was in an important work meeting on Tuesday 14th February and left my phone on my desk. In the middle of my meeting, my boss came into the room and told me that there was a call for me ON HIS PHONE, it was a lady calling from Bidvest Insurance asking me if I wanted insurance on the car I was going to buy??????</p> <p>I was absolutely LIVID, EMBARRASSED and completely MORTIFIED that my BOSS would be contacted to get hold of me!!!!!!! </p> <p>What sort of business do you run that you should do something so ********* and indeed HARASSING when I was assured that my boss would not be contacted????</p> <p>Incidentally, when I got back to my desk I had two missed calls from the same number plus a voice message which I have saved.</p> <p>Why can you not just leave it at a message instead of calling my husband (yes, he was called too by Datsun Nissan) then when you can't get hold of me you have to track me down through my employer??? </p> <p>I have never heard of such behavior!! </p> <p>For the record, I am completely put off purchasing my vehicle through Datsun Nissan or having anything to do with Bidvest at all if that is how you operate!!!! </p> <p> </p>
