Bidvest Insurance Brokers ...a *****

January 2018 I initiated a deal to buy a vehicle with Hyundai Wonderboom, I called Miway directly and secured insurance cover for the car as is required before delivery. However, due to some changes in plans that deal was cancelled. I advised Miway the purchase had been put on hold. February I started the process again this time with other dealerships simultaneously. I concluded a deal with Bidvest Mckathy Toyota Gezina . I then wrote Miway to reopen my previous quote and update with a Toyota instead. I was quoted and vehicle details were updated. Bidvest called me about insurance cover , I told them I had secured a favourible deal already they asked with whom, I told them .Miway consultant later indicated to me that Bidvest had, I'm not sure how, then went on and requested insurance for me again from Miway. I told her that when I first requested cover Bidvest weren't there and I see no need for them even at that stage, I settled for the instalment option without brokers. To my surprise in May, while updating insurance and querying the instalment increase I discovered the premium includes a broker fee from Bidvest , not authorised by me. This is highly ********** and collusion on the part of both Miway and Bidvest. Efforts to get this resolved by either of them has yielded nothing. This is very unprofessional and ******** .
