Bidvest Insurance a ****/ripp off

I purchased a used Opel Corsa Bakkie from Mccarthy Ford and Mazda, Silverlakes (part of the Bidvest group)Branch during 2013.At the time of the purchase, the mileage on the vehicle was 70000. The dealer offered me an extended warranty on the vehicle which I accepted and duly paid to them an amount of approximately R5800 for it. The vehicle was covered for a two year period. During the course of the week the vehicle overheated and it was sent to GM motors(another Bidvest company) in Pretoria for repairs.The quoted amount for repairs was approx. R17 000. Not a problem I thought as the vehicle is within the extended warranty period and therefore covered.<br> <br> The GM dealer then duly sends off the claim ti Bidvest Finance/Insurance represented by UIA who reject the claim as the vehicles previous owner(before me) did not service the vehicle at its 45000 and 60000 service at a GM dealer.How is that my problem..as I ONLY BOUGHT THE VEHICLE AT 70000...and since then have duly serviced the vehicle twice at authorised GM dealers.So which means that on my watch I have fully comp**** with the conditions of the warranty.This is certainly a **** and a total ripoff.
