Bewarned Bidvest Insurance IUA is very happy taking monthly premiums for the Scratch and dent policy. However please note they will delay claims for months and would try to avoid paying at all! Firstly they send you all documentation to fill in and get approved panelbeater quotations. The problem is even if it is a very small scratch the painting from these approved panelbeaters would probably be more than the claim limit on these policies. Further they want many pictures of your vehicle and will look for reasons to void claims. They also send you back to the panelbeaters for updated quotations and make your administration so hard that you end up giving up on the claim. I cancelled my policy today!
