I hit a pothole my rim was damaged and the tyre was fine, they refuse to pay out because the tyre wasn't damaged. How does that even make sense.... Then they hit you with this clause In the event of accidental wheel rim damage whilst driving on a public road this policy will pay towards the cost of repairs or replacement of the wheel rims fitted to the Vehicle as stated on the Schedule of Insurance provided the rim damage was caused by the same event which caused a valid irreparable tyre claim. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS
