Bad experience
Can anyone please recommend a reliable tyre insurance company? I am currently with Bidvest, and I have been experiencing ongoing delays with my claims. Since Monday, my current claim has still not been finalised, and this seems to happen every time I submit a claim. I’m really frustrated with the lack of efficiency.

26 Feb 2026, 09:40I’ve been with Bidvest Tyre Insurance for over 5–6 years, and unfortunately not a single claim has ever been approved smoothly. There is always unnecessary back-and-forth and constant delays.
It’s now day 4 of waiting for my current claim to be finalised, and I’m forced to use public transport while I have a car sitting at the fitment centre. This level of service is extremely disappointing and frustrating for a long-standing client.
