Bad claiming experience

I had a tyre angel policy with Bidvest for almost two years now. I was covered for R2 000, I sent all necessary documents. It was a nightmare to claim because they said I must go to a tyre garage and ask for a detailed report if the tyre can be repaired. I saw from that point on that i wont be getting any money from them. After sending that report, they said they can pay me only R600, my threads were at 3mm while it clearly shows on the thread measurement it's 5mm. They are the worst, I have canceled my policy with them. I have not received this R600 they are talking about, this happened this week. My question was to them what tyre can I purchase with R600? The quotation I sent them was for R2109 for size R17 215/45. I am really disappointed in them, I will never insure anything with them.
