A fender bender becomes a write off!!!

An accident was reported to the company on the 8th of November however due to it not being during the office hours it was only registered on the 9th. The vehicle was sent via a roll-back to their yard, the claims assessor made contact on the 11th, and instead of trying to be helpful she interrogates the driver and the insurance holder (car was lent out, insurance holder not present at scene) as well as 3 other people, all of which was not even present at the accident. After going to and fro with the assessor and the claims dept. we managed to finally get a courtesy car which even though it was entitled to us, was a beat around the bush. After speaking to the assessors dept. we were reassured that the car was repairable. A week later the salvage dept. calls stating it is a write off! No documentation was sent to us of the report. Pictures were requested of the car from the yard and to my disappointment the car was not the way I had left it! According to the tow-trucks report it was a fender bender and my pictures are proof of slight damage. Bidvest does not return calls and they are extremely pathethic at communication. I want to be compensated for this, my vehicle was perfect.
