Car Auction CPA Breach
On the 4th of August I purchased 2 vehicles at Bidvest Burchmore auction, bid 622.
1. When I collected the car, It was very apparent that the Polo GT, was completely battered and had to be repaired or rebuilt. The driver door and window cannot be shut and the safety belt is totally dysfunctional.
2. When I drove off with the car yesterday from the wharehouse there was a rattling sound and steering wheel violently shakes when I drive close to 60 km per hour. I realized that the front wheels were also shaking, I’m not certain if this is due to a steering rod
3. On the comment section it was indicated that the Polo Vivo has a service book but to my dismay there is no service book and sparewheel in the car
4. The Ford Bantam radio has been removed and the Bonet cannot even open, handbrake not functional
All The above was not disclosed on the car list or on the day of the auction by the auctioneer.
I feel like I was ****med
Kindly please intervene, I understand that this a voetstoots sale, but I was clearly ******* into buying cars that I was told are clean but only to realize hat they were involved in accidents and amateurishly rebuilt/resprayed. The Polo GT battery is not even working as it has to be jumpstarted every time
