Bidvest Group Will Suck You Dry!!!

I am not sure if it is the arrogance usually spoken of in these big companies. Bidvest car rental ripped me off bad. So I returned their car with a very minor scratch at the bottom of the bumper. They took my entire deposit that was due back to me (R7000) and said they arrived at that figure after the damage assessment. Here is the shady par, I asked them for the assessment documents to check if that was truthful and to confirm what kind of panel beating place charges that ridiculous amount for a minor scratch. This was in November 2019 and they still have not sent me the assessment report to date (16 January 2020). Just as an indication, I have a bigger and deeper scratch on my own car (BMW X5). I took my car in for assessment and was told they would need to re-spray the whole bumper of my car for only R3500. Now you tell me, for the Bidvest car (Renault Sandero), does it make sense that is costs R7000 to fix a minor scratch, even if it was the whole bumper as was done with my car? Both cars metallic paint. Only Bidvest Car Rental know what they are hidding by not sending me proof of the assessment that I requested.
