A really good experience

I was in the Bidvest Lounge before I flew to JHB from Cape Town. I was very pleasantly surprised by this particular lounge. I had no problem getting in with my Investec card. I can understand why people who do not have the right credentials e.g. a business class ticket, belonging to a bank or other institution that pays for this service on the part of their clients. In order to maintain their high standards, they need the funds. The quality of the food was first class and there was a huge selection from gluten free to vegetarian - meeting all needs. The coffee (provided by a machine with many selections) was delicious. The food tables were refilled regularly so that the large selection was maintained. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure that I was happy. The lounge was very clean and was constantly being cleaned during my visit. There were enough comfortable seats - I have been to many lounges where one struggles to find a decent area to sit in. Every seat had access to a USB charging and plug point. The free wi-fi provided worked extremely well. All in all, a really good experience. Well done to Cape Town Bidvest lounge!
