Undisclosed costs by Bidvest Car Hire and Economy Car Rental/Hire

I searched for car hire from Port Elisabeth on the internet and found a reasonable price quoted, aparantly by Europe Car Rental/Hire. I filled in my details as required. It was indicated that the hire will be through Bidvest. There was no indication whatsoever that there would be an agent fee payable. I was requested to pay R1724.21 online and were under the impression that the payment was for Bidvest and would be netted off my actual rental amount once the car were returned to Bivest and their finalisation of the costs. Two days later Bivest debited my credit card with the full amount of the rental, which was initially indicated to me. I queried that and were informed that the initial fee of R1724.21 that I paid online was the agent, Economy Car RentalHire's fee for the booking. That is more that 50% of the actual cost from Bidvest. Moreover, Bidvest also charged me an additional booking fee. When I try and contact Economy Car Rental/Hire there are no contact details. I cintacted Bidvest and they are simply pulling up their shoulders and cannot give me any contact details of the agent that they dealt with. I think it absurd and totally unacceptable.
