Stay away for Bidvest. You will starve waiting for your rental deposit refund.

It's almost 3 weeks since I returned their rental car. I have been chasing after my R5 000 deposit since, I called them more than twice , one of the staff was following up & helping but then never made contact with me again. My issue is that instead of placing a hold on my account for the deposit, they rather debited the funds. The second person I spoke to was not interested in hearing me out and kept repeating that they've sent a request to the bank to release the funds it can take up to 45 days like she was an automated voice machine after numerously telling her the funds were debited instead of placing them on hold. Bidvest simply needs to refund me, but clearly they have their own plans with my money. This is really leaving me with a bitter taste - If this is not resolved with urgency & consideration that it's festive I will never have anything positive to share about Bidvest.
