******* with Bad Service to Boot.
<p>I recently hired a car from Bidvest East London Airport, according to my voucher the total cost for the two days would be R608.85, I paid the deposit and had an amount of R467.00 outstanding. I pick the car up and receive a dirty car, washed outside filthy inside but there was nothing else to give me. I return the car after refueling at the service station accross the road from the airport, I drop the car, drop the keys and catch my flight. The next day I see that Bidvest has charged my card for an amount of R1130.62, I phone and they agree that they have charged me the incorrect amount and will reverse it and charge me R507.00 as there was a R40.00 charge for fuel as I did not completely fill the car according to them, ******* I hire cars regulalry and always make sure it is refuelled to the brim. So I am still waiting for the incorrect charges to be reversed and the correct charges to be taken off my account. This will be the first and last time I use Bidvest.</p>
We do most sincerely apologise for the unacceptable service failures, both on collection and on receipt of your final account. The matter has been referred to our Senior Management responsible for East London Airport and they will be in touch by close of business today with a final resolution and revised invoice.

We have checked our records and find no evidence of a charge of R1130.62 and can see a charge of R471.00 debited on the 6th of February. Your enquiry may therefore have reached them before final billing took place resulting in the correct amount being billed.
Should your statement reflect a debit of R1130.62, kindly forward proof to customercare@bidvestcarrental.co.za and we will investigate. A copy of the final invoice has been sent to your e-mail address and any further queries can be addressed to our Customer Care team.
