Poor Communication and Pathetic Service

I rented a car from Bidvest Car Rental at OR Tambo Airport on the 3/01/18. This is not my first time renting from them. The agent, Godfrey who assisted me informed me when I handed him my credit card that he cannot accept the card because it is not embossed. I informed him that I was not made aware that this is a requirement. He told me it is written as part of a highlighted red paragraph which appears on the confirmation documents the renter gets sent. I told him and showed him that it is not there. He then insisted that he cannot use my credit card as it is a debit card, which it is not. He insisted that I was wrong and that it was a debit card. I am the cardholder how on earth will I not know that it is a credit card. I went through all the documentation I received and not in one of it is there a note about an embossed credit card being required. They refused my card point blank. This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.
