Pathetic Service
I wrote a complaint before around the issue of leaving the hired car at the airport and the senselessness of me having to pay a deposit twice when I would leave the car at Budget's premises. After complaining only via this medium was the matter only resolved and I appreciate that. But clearly in general now Budget needs to improve their service. I work as a civil servant and we make use of Budget continuously and I have complained about their service before but clearly nothing is being done about it. They way their policies are structured around deposits etc and cash or card etc, petrol in the car etc. All of this I deal with but the fact I cant deal with is if I dont receive my money back when I am suppose to. I have taken this hired car with a full tank and last week Thursday already, Why has my deposit not been paid yet. And this reversal of card nonsense is useless. Why dont I just receive my money in my cheque card as suppose to because this is pathetic.
We do not generally accept Cheque Cards and when we do the team should request that you sign a document which clearly indicates that there may be difficulties with releasing your authorisation as it may have debited to your card.
We can however confirm that this particular authorisation was released back into your account on the 10th of February for some reason, despite the vehicle only being returned on the 19th of February. We therefore are not sure which rental you may be referring to in this instance.
The Cheque Card matter will be referred to the Management Team responsible and we do, once again, apologise for the inconvenience caused and would suggest that a Credit Card would avoid this kind of aggravation or if you do not have a Credit Card, we would ask that you call to arrange for the authorisation to be released as we cannot \see\" that it has not on our side.
