Misleading and Complimentary Downgraded

This past weekend I rented a car from Bidvest car hire, the most unpleasant experience I have have with a rental company. i booked and confirmed a Audi A3 on collection was given a Honda Ballade that was damages smelly and in bad condition. Bidvest cannot tell me that a Honda Ballade is similar to an Audi A3, which i presume they would say. I called Audi South Africa and was told that the Ballade is similar to a Toyota Corrolla and not in the same class as an Audi A3. <br> <br> The next point there office staff are very unfriendly and certainly not customer focused, I was about the only client that entered the offices all the staff sitting around having a social chat an they felt very disappointed when I entered because I needed to be served.<br> <br> The excesses are pretty huge for the old damaged Ballade my excess was R42000.00 the contract fee is R65 and there other fees are also very high.<br> <br> As a new brand I used Bidvest but certainly not in the future. Bad service with bad cars and a complimentary downgrade.
