Caveat Emptor
Booked flight to Cape Town and was led to that UK Company for car hire. Decided on Bidvest Car Rental and one of the offered perks was that the contract fee was included in the fee, which the UK Company withdrew from my credit card within 24 hours. Arrived in CT to find that I now have to pay R65.00 for contact fee. Then comes the final invoice from Bidvest and now the contract fee has gone up to R70.00. Phoned Bidvest Customer care at around 10 am this morning. They promised to give me feedback either telephonically or by e-mail by close of business today. Off course nothing heard, well what did I expect ..... miracles? Once bitten twice shy, Bidvest has just lost another customer. Caveat Emptor.

We do sincerely apologise for the lack of response, we had requested a copy of the signed rental agreement from the branch before reverting to you.
In terms of your voucher with rental.com the contract fee is R70.00 including tax, however as the rental agreement had R65.00 printed on it we have credited and honoured this rate.
