Angry Father to Be

My Girlfriend was admitted on Thursday night, day before Good Friday for an emergency C-Section. It is now Sunday morning and we still have not recieved any assistance. We understand its easter weekend but the whole experience, most especially with security and nurses has been appalling. They speak about her behind her back calling her names like satan and evil thinking she is unable to hear or understand their language. No one has given any information on when she will go in for surgery. Everyday i try and keep her mood up and cheer her up to keep her mind off the situation, only for nurses to gossip and treat her badly because shes is smiling and laughing on calls with me or her mother. Why do they enjoy making patients suffer and feel bad and cry in this hospital? No one speaks nicely or encourages the young women. It is actually appalled and i am disgusted with the level of service given to my woman. We will be packing our things and seeking private medical care because our government hospitals have gone to the dogs. Unbelievable. This complaint is directed specifically at all the nurses working in the materinty and antinatal care ward. Our women dont even want to give birth there because they feel like prisoners or are made to feel bad for being pregnant. The passages echo. All the girls can hear what they say about them. I am woken up everyday by my woman crying. Something must change!
