Harassment by attorney

I've been bombarded with endless sms's about my vaf which is wild because my account is to date. Why has standard bank not contacted me directly before sending my details to this attorney. I have searched for them on the internet and they have no website or rather is under construction, as a first encounter with this inc how am I to confirm that they are a legit company. If I get back listed under these circumstances I will sue.
