BG CONstruction - dishonest and very bad work

I used BG Construction / Badenheim Group (NHBRC No 37941) to build a house. They promised the world at the start to get the contract, but then did not delivery. Late on schedule, over budget and very poor quality workmanship. <br> <br> They started the project a month late and where late to complete. I moved in to the house in Dec 2014 and a lot of the work was still outstanding. The contract stated that all snags must be completed within 30 days. However it is now Aug 2015-the snags are STILL not completed. After numerous attempts to get BG CONstruction to finish the work they have now informed me that the 90 day snag period has expired and they REFUSE to complete the work. They over charged me on several items (plumbing, elec installation, etc). <br> <br> The roof (manufactured by Xtreme roof- part of the group) did not follow the architects plan, some walls were built in the incorrect place, did not plaster some walls, used cheaper paint than agreed in the contract, tiling was done shocking poorly, etc. They did not pay subcontractors who then phoned me to try and get their money.<br> <br> Dishonest and poor workmanship. Don't let them fool you. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.
