Beware of Betway SA!
I placed a bet on the Eredivisie match between FC Groningen and FC Heerenveen for over 7.5 corners. The total number of corners in the match was 8, as confirmed by multiple credible sources, including Eredivisie official website, Sky Sports, Flash Score. However, Betway settled my bet as a loss, stating their service provider reported only 7 corners.
To further support my case, I watched the match highlights, which clearly show the 8th corner was taken before the referee blew the final whistle. This contradicts Betway’s claims and raises concerns about the accuracy of their data.
I kindly request your assistance in investigating this matter and holding Betway accountable for ensuring fair and transparent practices. Please let me know if you require any additional information or evidence from my side to proceed

Had the corners been correctly allocated in real-time, I would have had a cash-out offer available, which I could have taken to avoid the subsequent losses on my slip. By only correcting the issue now, it unfortunately does not address the financial impact caused by the original error.
I believe this matter was not handled in line with the transparency and fairness expected of a licensed betting operator. As such, I will be escalating this issue to the National Gambling Board of South Africa for further investigation.
