Consider that Auto Cashout is placed on x2.00 for example. If the plane flies away at x2.00, then this is the Crash Multiplier and not considered for Cashout even if auto cashout is selected.
Should the Crash multiplier had been x2.01 for example then your bet would have cashed out at x2.00.

You placed auto cash out at x2.00 multiplier and lost this bet as the max multiplier in this round was x2.00.
The main rule as stated in game rules is the following: “Your bet is lost if you had not cashed out before the plane flew away”. Thus as the plane crashed / Flew away at x2.00 multiplier - this is the crash multiplier and thus the cashout did not take place prior as per the rule and no payout will be granted.
