Betway Account, No Withdrawal and Account Closed.

Thanks for your email, where does it mention that you keep peoples funds?

You close my account which has funds and you say that you won't reimburse the R1200 which was in my account? Isn't that theft?

Dear Sir/ Madam,
We write to you in respect of the above subject.
We refer you to clauses 11.1, 14.1 and 7.12 of the General Terms and Conditions
applicable to the Betway South Africa platform, which state that:
“11.1.
Betway is both entitled and legally obliged to monitor all customer betting account
activity for irregular or ******** activity and suspicious or unusual betting account
management. Any such activity may result in the immediate termination of a customer’s
betting account.”
“14.1.
Betway shall have the right, prior to accepting any bet, temporarily to suspend or
permanently to terminate, the furnishing of betting services to a Customer without
providing any reason;”
“7.12.
Before any withdrawals are processed, Betway reserves the right to review the
Customer’s play for any Prohibited Activity. For the purposes of these Terms, Prohibited
Activity shall include, but is not limited to, any activity or occurrence described in Clause
11.2 of these Terms. Should it be determined that any Prohibited Activity has taken place,
Betway reserves the right to withhold any withdrawals and/or confiscate/recover all
winnings which it reasonably believes are related to the Prohibited Activity.”
Please note that the above provisions are not exhaustive. Betway expressly reserves all
other rights to suspend or terminate your betting account and/or services under any
other applicable clauses of the General Terms and Conditions, as well as any rights
afforded to Betway under applicable laws and regulations.

In accordance with these provisions, we hereby notify you that your betting services with
Betway South Africa have been terminated with immediate effect.
