Pre-Approved Patience Required
Last week I sent a request for a pre-approval as I am keen to get along with a purchase of a property. On Friday I sent through all my documentation to Saraphina Ntsele as soon as I received the email from her requesting the documentation.
Here are all my problems and why I think dealing with Better Bond is a horrible experience.
1. We spoke at around 9am on Friday, I only received an email requesting further document at almost 2pm. Almost 5 hours later. 2. I respond within two hours but I was not told that my documentation and application was received or not. 3. I call on Tuesday at 2pm because it's been a few days and still no response. Saraphina says she was on leave on Monday. So why not just reply to my email on Friday and say that. 4. She obviously did not even see my application, I had to call to let her know because she had to look for it. 4. She promised to put the application through and let me know either on Tuesday or Wed. No surprise, I had to follow up again today at around 4pm. This time the excuse is, sorry we had no electricity. The application was supposed to have been put through yesterday ,not today, so electricty should be an issue in making a call to a bank or client.
In purchasing a property I feel that you should trust your provider. I went with betterbond because of how long you have been in the industry. My assumption was that you don't make it this long without putting your customer first and being a subject matter expert. I'm obviously mistaken because after four days of dealing with better bond I'm not in the least bit impressed.
Good Day
