*****ULENT DEDUCTIONS WITHOUT CONSENT

I have written here previously. BetterSure has created a deduction from my account for two reasons - home loan insurance and life policy - on a property that I never purchased.

How Standard Bank allowed it, and BetterSure generated it, I do not know as I gave no permission.

A consultant from BetterSure contacted me about the life policy, acknowledged the mistake, terminated it, and refunded me all the deductions.

She then said she cannot do the same with the bigger one - the mortgage insurance - because unlike the life policy, they cannot find proof that I did not consent. But, equally, they have no proof that I consented.

And why would I have, having life policy and not having purchased the property.

I stopped the debit order, repeatedly wrote and followed up with the same people at Better SUre with no joy. I wrote on HelloPeter with no come back.

It was silent for months. Then tonight I receive a letter to say I fell behind with my payments.

I did not consent to this, it needs to be terminated immediately, and I need to be refunded the thousands they deducted ********ly. I also need to report them now to the relevant authorities, in the same way as the *****ulent behaviour of the Bank needs to be exposed (with whom I have teh same difficulties by the way)
