Trying to **** me out of my refund.

I took out household insurance for two different properties. I moved my car insurance and with that came a quote for household insurance and based on that I decided to move from Better Sure to another company. I never claimed, and one of the many clauses in my contract alludes to the fact that I will get a refund of ALL my premiums upon cancellation.

I cancelled my insurance with Better Sure and enquired that about my refund, I was then informed that I needed to provide proof that I was insured with a different company (not sure what this has anything to do with Better Sure and this was not a requirement for the refund.

Fast forward to almost ten days after cancellation, I am being given the run around and being called by different people trying to debunk a clause about the refund that was clearly stated in the policy documents. I am being told of requirements that aren't in the policy or in the contract.

Better Sure is basically refusing to pay the refund they promised to pay and they don't want me to refer to the policy document when conversations are being had.
