Nothing 'better' about Betterlife!

<p>My wife and I app**** for a bond with FNB and we jopted to take Betterlife insurance because of cheaper premiums (we joined January 2017). Initially we agreed that the first debit order should be deducted end of May 2017 as we estimated that our house will be finished by June, however, we were informed by the developer that our house will only be finished around September 2017.</p> <p>In April I sent an email to Betterlife requesting that the debit order should be postponed to end of August, however the debit order for May went through, they said the postponement of the policy is not possible so they must allocate us another policy which will start end of August.</p> <p>They sent new policy document and we requested a refund, but we never got it and to our surprise they also debited for June! We've called and emailed them a dozen times they keep on saying our refund is being processed. I think this is their delay tactics so that August should arrive without refunding us. </p> <p>My advice is NEVER join this pathetic company if you want peace of mind.</p>
