Misleading information

From: Thusi, Catherine ********** Sent: Friday, August 18, 2017 1:11 PM To: Shannon Torres ********** Cc: ********** Subject: RE: Consent Form for Absa Dual Insurance Clients policy: ********** 31

Good day Shannon

Please see attached policy document I just received from Absa. They advised me that I am paying R172.32 and even when I calculate it matches. I am currently paying R334.62 which is more with you. Now my question is when you sold me the insurance, couldn’t you pick up that my property was already insured with ABSA as your consultant stated” it is compulsory to have property insurance since I bought a house”. It is amazing how NOW(after paying R4758.48) Betterlife managed to pick up that I have the dual insurance for my property?

To my surprise again I was advised that I am currently paying R576.52 for my ABSA insurance premium which is misleading info. I want to know who gave you my information as per POPI act, you are a third party, for the fact that you were not able send me the full document from ABSA and you screen dumped it means Betterlife acquired my information incorrectly.

I want my full payment refunded and interest to be included for the months I paid. I will be taking the matter up with ABSA as it is clear their employees don’t value their jobs hence I am sitting with this situation.

Kindly note I will be also taking this to the Tweeter and Hellopeter.

Regards, Catherine
